The ADA-1000 Long Range Reader solves the problem that Students and Faculty in Wheelchairs have in getting close to Prox Readers and Push-Buttons to open a door (some do not have use of their hands). In addition, Students who are blind may not know where the Prox Readers and Push Buttons are located.

The Remote Omni-Directional Antennas can be discreetly placed to blend in with the architecture of the facility. The Long Range Tags do not have to be "seen" by the Antennas, so they can even be installed behind walls, in stone columns, or "inside" of drop ceilings.
